Field Services Representative for on-site and in-shop trouble-shooting, repairs and testing. Experienced and energetic Journeyman Electrician or Technologist with superior technical problem-solving abilities. This challenging role requires excellent analytical and communication skills and a willingness to learn and explain, backed up by a solid educational background. Requires computer skills and relevant hands-on experience in electrical controls and power systems. Must be willing to work OT and be available for short notice call-ins. Typical Responsibilities:
Customer site and in-shop servicing including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installation and start-up assistance on the following typical electrical installations:
AC and DC Adjustable Speed Drives
AC and DC Motors
Infrared Scanning
Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear and Controls
Dry and liquid filled transformers
Uninterruptible Power Supplies
Provide training of above electrical products
Provide technical reports of work performed
Prepare quotes and follow-up with Customers
Provide technical assistance to Customers
Design of electrical panels
Available for overtime and short notice after hours call-ins
Available for out of town jobs and personal training
Qualifications of Successful Applicant:
Licensed Electrician or CET
Minimum of 2 years experience in applicable field
Valid driver's license
Possess a basic set of hand tools
Mechanically adept
